Miracle House Sponsors pray for their child.

We encourage sponsors to send a note and photo just before we travel and we bring them to the children.

Miracle House child sponsorship is organized in $30 (increments, segments components, gifts, others).  An individual or family can sponsor a child for $30, $60, or $90 per month.  It requires $90 to cover the costs for one child per month. If you choose $30 or $60 you are aware someone else will cover the remaining balance to $90.

Donations can be given online debited per your instruction (one-time, monthly, quarterly, or annually) or by check mailed to P O Box 1616, Silverthorne, CO 80498.

A Miracle House Child Sponsorship Application form is available on our website.

Yes, Miracle House loves to take individuals and families on mission trips to Kenya.  We visit our Miracle House locations and meet our staff and children.  Our mission trips are designed around the gifts and talents of those GOing.  As the Bible teaches us to go “…to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8)!

Here are some of the ways we “Carry the Kingdom” to Kenya:

  • Construction / work trips
  • Ministry in local schools, orphan schools or homes
  • Work alongside churches, preaching in services, women’s ministries, children’s ministries
  • Outreach to slums, cities, rural areas, remote regions of unreached people
  • We share the gospel  – sometimes through drama evangelism, hut to hut, one on one, masses, revival meetings, crusades
  • Pastor or leadership training – teacher training and development
  • Prayer ministry – walking, driving, prophetic, healing, deliverance

We listen. He leads. We respond. People hear. People receive.  He receives the  Glory. We are blessed!

We appreciate you contributions and believe they make a huge imapact in the lives of needy and orphaned children in Kenya.

Miracle House is funded by the donations of people who care about the orphans of Kenya.  We rely on the generous hearts of people!  Ultimately, because we need it, we can’t do it with out many standing with us!

Base Camp is a ten-acre parcel of property we purchased in 2009 and are developing for full time care of our children and more!  We are currently farming the land as we prepare for building.  2012 brought us a beautiful crop of maize and progress on preliminary development including electricity, rainwater collection system that will expand as needed.  We now have two 40’ shipping containers we set them parallel with space between and a roof over the top we have a nice workshop for construction or meeting room and the secure storage the containers provide is a needed asset in Kenya for security.

We have partnered with eMi who has drawn our master plan for the development.  When fully built, we will have housing for 200 children, kitchen/dining, multi-purpose building, educational center, national and international staff housing, missionary housing for our international volunteers, administration, chapel, and the football pitch!

We serve the needy and orphaned children.  We provide food, education, uniform for school, additional clothing and shoes as available, school fees as needed, counseling, and loving family environment.  Currently, we have 85 children in two locations; Limuru (just about an hours drive outside Nairobi) and Webuye (about an hour from the Ugandan border) 6-7 hours drive apart.

USA – a Board of Directors governs Miracle House in the U.S.  U.S. staff are volunteers who personally know the needs of the children and ministry.  We know, because, WE GO!  Staff persons are not paid, but volunteer to see the organization run on a day-to-day basis.  All have invested personally or raised support to spend personal time in Kenya with the children.  Therefore, we are thrilled to say, we know our kids and staff – we feel that is a valuable personality trait for our organization!

Kenya – MH is set up as a Company Limited by Guarantee.  We have approximately 30 staff members serving the various needs of the children and administration.  Our Kenyan staff members are fairly compensated for their work.  We aim to hire people who will take their job as a ministry to the children.

Founded in 2006, by Deanna Bjork, Miracle House began as a faith and obedience adventure in “bringing hope and healing to the hopeless and helpless”.  Motivated by the Heart of God, Miracle House has grown as many have heard or seen the need to reach out to needy and orphaned children and have taken action to make a difference in the lives of the needy and orphaned children in Kenya!
