#4 MH Trip Update – January 2023 – Nakuru to Limuru
As we traveled from Nakuru to Limuru we stopped on the way and met Millicent our Site-Coordinator from Limuru, on the side of the road. Then we proceeded with her to visit Agnes at school, just beginning her first year there. It was fun to see her school and have time talking and sharing with her!
We left along with Millicent and proceeded to MH Limuru!
We enjoyed connecting with the students at the center in the afternoon. Organized quilts for the form four finishers. A handmade quilt, anointed and prayed over in Colorado is their gift as they finish high school. (Thank you Ms. Judy) Also gifts for the other children and staff. These are typically simple things, much the has been donated for MH. I had a beautiful opportunity to sit with our form four finishers (just finished high school) students and talk about some handouts I’d given them about health and healing. We looked at Scripture together and explored more deeply.
During these years with fewer children the family environment that has been cultivated is beautiful!
The next morning, we left at 5:30am for the airport and Mombasa.
