#8 MH Trip Update – January 2023 – Praying for Children… healings and a creative miracle. Part 2
We walked to the second house –
I met an older girl, affected by CP, early 20’s, glowing with Jesus. Her right arm – elbow and wrist completely bent, fingers curled under. I sat on the floor with her, reached out to hold her hand. First, I held it bent, then pulled back my hands toward her fingers, she reached under with her other hand and partially straightened the fingers. I had my hands on each side of her hand and wrist. It was like her wrist melted and straightened. Fingers laid flatter, wrist continued to flatten or straighten. At this point I have no idea what she was able to do previously. I asked the director, she says, she has never seen it that straight before. It goes to completely flat, then I lay her stretched hand on the arm of the chair. Later when I checked her again, her elbow also straightened. The next morning, I saw her outside, walking better, glowing and singing thanks to God, her arm was hanging straight, wrist straight and fingers open.
The other children were amazed! She was most excited for this change so she could be more self-sufficient – able to do her own dishes, laundry, and ironing. Probably not the first thing I would have thought about… Oh, we have so much to be thankful for! She has such a sweet connection with the Lord, thankfulness and joy exude from her.
There were others that night with private stories that I can’t share here… but God was moving powerfully – Glory to God!
A beautiful night that I could have easily passed on because I was so tired… definitely not tooting my own horn here, simply reflecting on reality that I could have really missed it. Humbled! Real recognition of the power of our YES!
